Root Cellar Storage Of Cool Storage

Root Cellar storage is one of the oldest and most effective ways to preserve food. This method was traditionally used by farmers and homesteaders to store root vegetables, fruits, and other perishables over long periods of time through the winter season.

I’d never heard of preserving in alcohol or with yeast. Interesting. Idk if I’d enjoy eating food preserves in alcohol. Sounds like a science lab idea.

I know using yeast with bread, but never realized it preserved. I guess I thought it did the opposite, since I’ve seen bread, good movie, and yeasty foods smell kind of sour.
